OTES Penobscot River Watershed Poster For this poster, students explored Penobscot River watershed ecology through classroom lessons and field trips to create a poster that focuses on sea-run fish migration, water quality, watershed mapping and GPS navigation, and aquatic habitat. OTES Penobscot River History Poster This poster highlights the history of the Penobscot River through it's local uses, important cultural values, human use and impacts, and the cultural artifacts and heritage of the people who lived in connection with the river. OTES Dam Removal & River Restoration Poster This poster examines the goals and objectives of the Penobscot River Restoration Project and the multiple reasons behind community interest in removing dams to promote the restoration of sea-run fish and other wildlife habitat while still providing energy production.
